Job Purpose:

  • To sell goods for wholesale manufactured to businesses or groups of individuals. Work requires substantial knowledge of items sold.
  •  To develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with the existing client base as well as enhance business prospects.

  •   To suggest developments and modifications to sales and marketing strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives
  • Introduce the Cytech product line to key clients
  • Develop current customers into key account status, maximizing their purchasing spend
  • Providing technical solutions to customer requirements based on the Cytech product range
  • Searching Projects, initializing and keeping regular contacts with clients, architects, consultants, contractors and applicators. Obtain product approvals
  • Conducting presentations, seminars to prospective clients
  • Develop new customers into key accounts
  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting partners, discovering and exploring opportunities, including
  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, sales potential, and financials
  • Close new business deals following liaison with internal departments and management
  • Report regularly with technical sales performance, sales activity report and account strategy concerns
  • Ensure customers comply with their payment terms and provide market leading customer service and satisfaction
  • Resolve customer complaints, inspect and report to management keeping the client involved in the resolution

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Ability to demonstrate strong group of product knowledge
  • Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively, technical/commercial experience
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, civil engineering or chemistry field.
  • Minimum 5 years of related sales experience
  • Self-motivated, enterprising, decisive and organized individual & works well in a team
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills. PC literacy.
  • Experience in managing a team and a team player with good negotiation skills.
  • Able to submit weekly sales strategies and monthly reports to management.
  • Effectively demonstrate sales quarterly projections contributing to annual turnover.
  • Able to demonstrate network of relationships to develop the company’s business.
  • UAE driving license.  

Job Purpose:

    To lead, manage and develop a profitable and sustainable global commodities division in Cyrus Group of Companies. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic 

  • Define the target sectors, regions and fields to expand the company’ commodity business
  • Identify and develop strategic relationship with third parties to expand the business of the company
  • Provide feedback and involve in product improvement or new product development for the company
  • Identify and implement projects (investment) for development of commodities division

Operational

  Internal

  • Establish and monitor procedures for contracting with buyers and suppliers
  • Provides coaching and professional development to team-member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills
  • Work closely with a sales team, a technical service team and strategic account managers to coordinate activities with Cyrus distribution partners
  • Informs management about new, on-going and closing transactions
  • Follow market developments and business activity in close details
  • Lay down procedures for co-ordination with other division and departments
  • Liaison with financial department on on-going and pending transactions
  • Fluent in English
  • Develop strong capabilities to manage logistics and financial requirements of the division
  • Develop procedures in the delivery and management of trading commodities  
  • Develop platform to build client relations and coordinate customer relationships
  • Take necessary steps to maintain good quality service to internal and external customers
  • Lay down processes for effective project management capabilities in the division

 External 

  • Develop, Implement and track supply chain management projects
  • Assist Marketing in the development of business strategies and tactics that meet the needs of the targets corporate farms, as well as Cyrus objectives
  • Organize customer and/or site visits to improve existing relations with third parties as well as enhance network
  • Complete understanding of taxation and custom in countries of operations
  • Represent Cyrus Group in all commercial platforms – conferences, seminar and public events
  • Appointment of third party agencies for effective transaction flow – logistics providers, insurance agencies, financial intermediaries, etc.  
  • Launch and maintain an efficient cross sell campaign in order to leverage company’s products and diversify company offering to external customers.
  • Take necessary steps to maintain good quality service to internal and external customers
  • Lay down processes for effective project management capabilities in the division

Financial

  • Track the profitability and top-line projections of the division as aligned with the company financials
  • Create and structure instruments that can be used to mitigate financial and commercial risks in transactions and projects  
  • Monitor cash flows to manage proper operations of payment and collection systems
  • Manage and monitor costs as per the allocated and agreed budgets
  • Develop and manage mechanism for proper cost based pricing of transactions – transaction cost budgeting

Legal

  • Understand the legal and statutory requirements of doing business in proposed area of operations

 

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Product certification or equivalent technical credential and a record of achievement
  • Proficiency and experience with advanced strategic procurement methodologies and sourcing approaches and techniques
  • Strong team leading skills and Strong customer service orientation.
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills (Arabic Speaking is advantage)
  • Experience dealing with pulses, grains, beans and nuts
  • Strong understanding of material requirements planning (MRP), inventory control and work order management in a manufacturing and operating environment
  • Knowledge in developing risk analysis, total cost analysis and financial modeling
  • Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree preferred but not essential.
  • Fluent in English
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the agricultural industry, to include background in sales or sales support role
  • Demonstrate Good Client Portfolio.  
  • Ability and willingness to live in the assigned territory

Job Responsibilities:

  • Produce profitable trading results meeting or exceeding the annual goal for the team.
  • Develop and maintain a solid and stable portfolio of customers and suppliers
  • Liaising closely with sales staff and trade finance division
  • Develops trading strategies, initiates and manages physical and financial positions for profit, focuses on supply portfolio, manages price exposure for system and trading positions and proposes relevant risk management and hedging strategies.
  • Executing trades with pre approvals and price approvals
  • Determine market sentiment via research, valuation and data analysis.
  • Analyze, tabulate, and report principal risks, market risks, inventory exposure, the economics of trades, and overall P&L of positions.
  • Collaborates with commercial operations to manage physical inventories consistent with supply requirements and financial market structure. Represents the company externally.
  • Seeks and forecast market intelligence for trading opportunities. Embeds optionality to reduce exposure in trading positions and trade books, interprets financial information, integrates information from a variety of sources, detects trends, associations, and cause/effect outcomes.
  • To resolve client issues upon getting information from the sales team.
  • Negotiates contracts both short and long-term. Builds relationships, manages third parties and internal relationships
  • Participates in setting a strategic plan for supply & trading team and provides the leadership role to other commercial functions
  • Monitoring the UAE and International market performance, price fluctuations and updating key personnel in the company with daily trading information.

  • Skills / Qualifications:

    • 10 years diesel trading experience in Middle East markets.
    • Proficiency and experience with advanced strategic procurement methodologies and sourcing approaches and techniques
    • Effective verbal and written communications skills (Arabic Speaking is advantage)
    • Knowledge in developing risk analysis, total cost analysis and financial modeling
    • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering. Master's degree is preferred.
    • Demonstrate Good Client Portfolio
