Gulfood – 2014
GULFOOD 2014 which is the region’s biggest and most important food and beverage and hospitality event was held in Dubai, U.A.E. from 23rd to 27th of February 2014. This year the event broke all previous records and became world’s biggest event in the industry comprising of 4500 companies participating with 120 International Pavilions and covering over 1 million square feet of floor space. The exhibition aimed to bring together all the global suppliers and the buyers together under one roof which included not only private entities but also government institutions.
RANSA under the privilege of ‘Canada Beef’ from Canada, displayed the complete range of prime steak of Wagyu, high end Hamburgers, Meatballs and Sausages. The products were prepared at the show and offered for tasting to the Consumers, Trade Managers, Retail Category Managers, Restaurant Owners and Head Chefs of some of the large 5 Star hotels in the region.
RANSA also introduced some of the other commodity products under its’ food vertical which included Pulses & Lentils from Ethiopia and Uzbekistan (Red Kidney Beans, Chickpeas, Green Moong and Speckled Red Kidney Beans), Edible Oils from Turkey, Germany, Thailand and Ukraine, and Rice from US, Uruguay and Thailand.
The participation in GULFOOD was phenomenal success in extending RANSA brand to many multinational organizations and consumers; especially it provided the right platform to extend exclusive RANSA product offering to the Middle East Food and Hospitality sector.
SIAL Middle East (SIALME) is the region’s biggest and most important food, hospitality and beverage industry event that was held in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. from 24 to 26th of November 2013. The exhibition aimed at increasing the regional understanding and levels of best practice, and promote the importance of human capital development, quality control, marketing and technology to both a public and private sector audience.
This year, products on show were from more than 1,000 food and equipment manufacturers and suppliers, along with a record 21 international pavilions from five continents part. The range of products that were displayed were their complete range of prime meat burgers, meatballs , sausages and steaks of premium Wagyu meat. The products were prepared at the show and offered for tasting to consumers, buyers and Head Chefs of some of the large 5 Star hotels in the region.
