Cyrus General Trading (CGT) has a rich 25-year history in global trading. CGT specializes in the physical sourcing and marketing of products for Government Agencies, Corporations and is the original business segment from which the Cyrus Group was born.

CyTech WLL is the operational arm of CyTech International in Qatar which was set up originally to supply Bitumen and manufacture Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB) for the construction of the new Hamad International Airport in Doha. CyTech is now the longest standing PMB manufacturer in the region and remains a leading supplier to Ashghal Expressway Projects ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the broader infrastructure construction underpinning the Qatar National Vision 2030.
Operations in Oman began in 1998 to serve the bulk bitumen needs of the Sultanate of Oman. The Oman terminal facility manages the resale and distribution of its bulk bitumen products. The terminal further provides bulk delivery of bitumen, primers, cut-backs and emulsions to internationally accepted standard specifications by road tankers throughout the country.
In 2000, Cyrus entered the African market establishing bitumen supply operations in Ethiopia. Cytech’s influence has stimulated the country’s economy, providing competitive bitumen supplies, which in turn aids the infrastructure development and has set product standards in general for the continent of Africa, more specifically in  the COMESA countries.
With its own dedicated jetty and a large storage capacity, Haswell is at the forefront of the Cyrus Group's bitumen operations in the United Arab Emirates, where it handles all manufacturing processes for companies within the Cyrus Group.
